In Virtual Machine > Settings > Default Applications unchecking Open your Mac files and web links by using Windows applications and clicking Clean Up Applications removed all file associations for me in VMWare Fusion 8.5.0 and OS X El Capitan.

The Kickstart references the Open Security Content Automation Protocol (OSCAP) Anaconda add-on as org_fedora_oscap instead of com_redhat_oscap which might cause confusion. That is done to preserve backward compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. 2ff7e9595c
